Ambusol in short

Ambusol AB (publ) is an innovative clinical stage med-tech company, founded by Professor Emeritus Gunnar Ronquist, active at Uppsala University Hospital in Sweden, focusing on developing and making available new and more gentle treatment methods for patients with Glioblastoma (GBM), an aggressive form of brain tumor. The goal is to improve the quality of life and prolong the life of those affected, by offering an alternative treatment method that reduces the suffering (side effects) that traditional treatments with chemotherapy and radiotherapy often cause.

Professor Ronquist has dedicated his life to finding a more patient-friendly way to treat GBM and has since 1973, been researching in this field, initially in the United States and then in collaboration with Swedish and international doctors and scientists. Over the years, theories and laboratory results have gradually been transferred to practical trials and clinical patient treatment. These efforts have resulted in significant progress and saved lives. The scientific principles behind Professor Ronquist’s work have been proven through extensive research and treatments, leading to the development of a treatment method that has the potential to revolutionize how we view GBM and how GBM is treated globally.

The method is clinically proven on patients with excellent outcome. The management team of Ambusol combines deep scientific expertise with entrepreneurial spirit and innovative power. With a solid background in medicine, biotechnology and product development, the team has contributed to over 500 scientific publications, launched 3 medicinal products, and introduced 10 med-tech products to the global market.
